Shivkala Leela Sukumaran Founder Partner & Chief Trainer

Shivkala Leela Sukumaran is a visionary leader driven by a clear mission: to empower every individual and help them reach their true potential. With over 23 years of corporate experience, she brings deep administrative expertise, strategic insight, and a strong understanding of organizational growth to the advantage of professionals and institutions alike.

Her corporate journey spans reputed organizations such as BPL Mobile, ABN AMRO Equities, Shaadi.com, Standard Chartered Bank, and Nexus Venture Partners, where she made meaningful contributions to operational excellence and organizational development.

In 2013, she embarked on her entrepreneurial journey by founding Things Etc, a one-stop destination promoting handmade Indian art forms and thoughtfully curated gifts. Her entrepreneurial spirit further led her to co-found Woloo, India’s first “Powder Room for Women” a For Women, By Women initiative dedicated to ensuring hygiene and dignity for women across age groups and backgrounds. Woloo introduced innovatively designed, safe, and comfortable spaces equipped with CCTV surveillance, Wi-Fi connectivity, and centrally air-conditioned facilities.

Expanding her impact into knowledge sharing and community building, she founded ACT Talks a platform featuring expert led talks and interactive sessions aimed at fostering awareness, continuous learning, and meaningful connections among changemakers and “Actioners.”

Her commitment to social responsibility is equally profound. She serves as a Trustee at Navdrushti, a development oriented non-profit established in 1996, working in the tribal regions of Palghar and Thane districts. The organization focuses on education, healthcare, nutrition, vocational training, employment generation, afforestation, and women’s empowerment to create sustainable livelihoods for underprivileged communities.

Internationally, she contributes as a Mentor with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, supporting women entrepreneurs in emerging markets by helping them access skills, technology, networks, and financial opportunities needed to build successful businesses.

Through corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, community initiatives, and global mentorship, Shivkala Leela Sukumaran embodies purpose driven leadership blending business acumen with social impact to create lasting transformation.

Abhilash Nair Co-Founder Partner & Operations Head

Abhilash Nair is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with over 25 years of experience across India and the Middle East. With a strong foundation in business development, market expansion, and operational strategy, he brings a structured, execution-driven approach to building scalable training, compliance, and capability solutions for MSMEs, corporates, and institutions.

His professional journey spans diverse sectors including IT, manufacturing, construction, and international trade equipping him with a multidimensional understanding of business ecosystems. Known for his clarity of thought, commercial acumen, and operational discipline, Abhilash has consistently built ventures with a sharp focus on sustainability, governance, and long-term value creation.

His entrepreneurial journey began in the UAE, where he founded and successfully exited a trading company after strategic equity liquidation. He then established a plastic cutlery manufacturing unit in Dubai, scaling it into a 24/7 continuous production facility before exiting again after consolidation and equity liquidation. Expanding further into the infrastructure domain, he moved to Qatar and launched a construction company that undertook projects associated with the prestigious FIFA World Cup 2022.

In 2018, he founded TradeStrive Pvt. Ltd., focusing on commodity exports from India to multiple international markets. His ability to identify emerging opportunities and build reliable cross-border alliances significantly strengthened business networks and global outreach.

Subsequently, he joined Things Etc as Co-Founder, contributing to its strategic expansion and operational framework. Today, as a driving force behind Sharp Skill Gurukul LLP, Abhilash Nair plays a pivotal role in shaping its vision of structured learning, responsible workplace practices, and scalable capability development.

He has been instrumental in building domestic and international outreach initiatives, forging long-term institutional partnerships, and strengthening organisational credibility across markets. His leadership philosophy centres on sustainable growth, ethical business practices, and capability building — ensuring that people, processes, and purpose move in alignment to create measurable and lasting impact.
